Julie Burnett - South West Regional Control Company Director
Julie Burnett was appointed to the post of Chief Executive in September 2007.
Julie started her career in the hospitality industry, and has since worked in the private sector; as a director in the not-for-profit care sector; and more recently, in the public sector. Julie was awarded an Executive MBA from Luton University Business School in 2002. Then, in 2003 she was appointed as Head of Somerset County Services with Somerset County Council. This role gave her wide experience in contracting services and facilities management, and a good understanding of local authority operation.
