National statistics
National Statistics is defined in the Framework for National Statistics, the Code of Practice for National Statistics, and the 12 Protocols supporting the Code. Its implementation in Communities and Local Government is described in our Statement of Compliance.
Officials who receive pre-release access to National Statistics are recorded in the pre-release access list below.
From 1 April 2008, National Statistics will be overseen by the UK Statistics Authority.
