Public appointments

We are committed to appointments to public bodies on merit which reflect the communities that public bodies serve. This diversity at the highest level will include both men and women, members of minority ethnic groups and those with disabilities.

Public appointments are made by Ministers to the boards of Communities and Local Government Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs). Appointments include positions such as Chair, Deputy Chair and Board members.
