Honours list
Gives details of where and when the honours list appears
Honours lists are published two times a year - at New Year and on the day of the Queen's official birthday in June. Details of successful candidates are published in the press as well as on the Prime Minister's website.
Those who have been awarded honours are invited to an investiture ceremony at which they receive their award from the Queen.
