Senior management at Communities and Local Government

Communities and Local Government is managed by a Board of directors. They support the Ministers to achieve the Department's objectives and make sure its work is conducted efficiently and effectively. The Board's main role is to:

  • work with Ministers to develop and carry out the Department's aims
  • advise on allocating money and people to achieve those aims
  • monitor how effectively the aims are being achieved
  • manage the Department's own resources in a clear, accountable way
