Our estate is made up of three elements.

Central Communities and Local Government group (2,181 staff, 8 buildings):

  • headquarters in central London (2,037 staff)
  • finance and accounting office at Hemel Hempstead (104 staff)
  • Fire Resilience Directorate staff and property (40 staff, 4 sites)

Three executive agencies (771 staff, 4 sites):

  • the Planning Inspectorate (438 staff, 2 sites)
  • the Fire Service College at Moreton-in-Marsh (280 staff)
  • the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (53 staff)

Government Office network (758 staff, 15 buildings):

  • Government Office, London (91 staff, one building)
  • Government Office, East (79 staff, two buildings)
  • Government Office, South East (66 staff, one building)
  • Government Office, South West (82 staff, two buildings) 
  • Government Office, North East (74 staff, one building)
