Strengthening Communities: Partners in Action
On 5 February 2008 Communities and Local Government and the Office of the Third Sector held a joint conference 'Strengthening Communities: Partners in Action'. The event was designed to enable delegates from the third sector and local government to learn more about how the Government is taking forward its work around strengthening communities and partnership working, and to contribute to the discussion. The latest interactive technology was used to capture questions directed at speakers, including Baroness Kay Andrews, OBE, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at Communities and Local Government, and Phil Hope MP, Minister for the Third Sector at the Office of the Third Sector.
