Who we are and what we do
Cohesion Research undertakes research and collects statistics relating to race equality, faith and community cohesion following transfer of these responsibilities from the Home Office on 5 May 2006. The unit has a continuing programme of research to support the work of Cohesion Directorate; providing an evidence-base for policy development and for measuring and monitoring.
