Government response to the Select Committee report on the Future of Regional government
The Parliamentary Select Committee on Communities and Local Government Report on the Future of Regional Government was published on 14 March 2007. The report contained 24 recommendations on the role of the Government Offices, existing regional governance and architecture, regional economic performance and city-regions policy. This document is the full Government response to the report and its recommendations published on 11 May. The full text can be found on The Stationery Office website. (See link on the right).
