Summary

This scoping study, published in July 1999, examined the feasibility of developing targets and indicators for Regional Planning Guidance (RPG), in response to draft Planning Policy Guidance 11: Regional Planning (PPG11) which highlights the importance of setting quantified regional and sub-regional targets to provide a benchmark for RPG success.
