Summary

This is the report of research into the Planning Aid service in England. The objectives were to:

  • identify ways in which Planning Aid can help to achieve Government policy objectives;
  • identify the modes and levels of service delivery which would represent the most appropriate and cost-effective means of doing this;
  • assess evidence of the demand (actual or latent) for Planning Aid; and
  • assess evidence of the ability of Planning Aid to meet that demand.
