This annual report, published in February 2006, provides information on the extraction, supply and demand for primary, marine and recycled aggregates for the London region for 2005.
It also provides information on wharves and rail depots used for the transfer of aggregates in the region and the status of aggregates policies in the London Plan and local development documents in the region.
Note: The above publication was issued by our former department, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM). ODPM became Communities and Local Government (DCLG) on 5 May 2006 - all references in the text to ODPM now refer to Communities and Local Government.
The findings and recommendations in this report are those of the consultant authors and do not necessarily represent the views or proposed policies of Communities and Local Government.
