Summary

Section 215 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 can be used by local authorities, on its own or as part of a package of measures, to improve the amenity of the public realm. The research explores the use of section 215 by local authorities, its effectiveness, potential and contribution to area-based regeneration and identifies good practice.
