Summary

This report, published in July 2006, provides information and data on the extraction, sales, supply and demand for primary, marine and recycled aggregates for the South East of England region for the calendar year 2004. It also provides information on planning consents and refusals for aggregates extraction in the region and progress in the preparation of Minerals Development Documents for the region.

Note: The above publication was issued by our former department, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM). ODPM became Communities and Local Government (DCLG) on 5 May 2006 - all references in the text to ODPM now refer to Communities and Local Government.
