Summary

Policy Action Team 17 was one of eighteen teams set up to look at issues around neighbourhood renewal after the Social Exclusion Unit (SEU) report 'Bringing Britain Together' was published in July 1998. They were charged with looking at how best to ensure policy and delivery at local level is integrated so that the goals of the National Strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal can be met.
