Summary

In March 2007, the Department published Measuring and Reporting Efficiency Gains which set out all the basic information required by a local authority in order to complete an Annual Efficiency Statement.

This note updates the information and useful links for measuring and reporting efficiency, including the values of approved deflators and information on quality crosschecks, to assist councils with the completion of their 2007-08 Backward Look efficiency statements.
