Summary

This report is based on supplementary information provided by local authorities on their activities under homelessness legislation during 2004/05. It complements the quarterly statistical release, by providing information on the household type and gender of homeless acceptances during 2004/05 and makes comparisons with previous years.

It also reports on the number of households in temporary accommodation on 31 March 2005, by gender and household type and how these have changed over time.
