Summary

The Survey of English Housing (SEH) is a continuous household survey carried out by the National Centre for Social Research. The SEH provides important housing data on owner occupation and on the social and private rented sectors.

This preview presents some new findings from the first nine months of the 2003-04 survey. The new results in this bulletin are mainly derived from questions asked for the first time in 2003-04 or re-introduced into the survey having been omitted for a number of years.
