Summary

The Survey of English Housing (SEH) is a continuous household survey, carried out for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister by the National Centre for Social Research. The SEH provides important housing data on owner occupation and on the social and private rented sectors. This preview presents some new findings from the first six months of the 2002–03 survey; during this period interviews were achieved in 9,800 households. This sample is not large enough to allow regional results to be produced. Results for the whole of 2002–03 will be published later this year.
