Prior to the introduction of Home Information Packs, Communities and Local Government undertook eight area trials of HIPs which ran from November 2006 to April 2007.
The purpose of these trials was to improve the HIP product and processes, and inform policy. Ipsos MORI were commissioned to track the HIPs produced as part of these trials and monitor the perceptions of stakeholders involved in the trials. This report presents the main research findings based around the three main research questions.
The findings and recommendations in this report are those of the consultant authors and do not necessarily represent the views or proposed policies of Communities and Local Government.
