Summary

This Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) was published alongside the Regulations and is an analysis of the likely impacts of the Home Information Packs policy, and the range of options that have been considered for implementing it.

The RIA considers the full range of potential impacts - economic, social and environmental - and where the impact may fall, for example on business, the public sector, the voluntary sector or other groups.
