Consultation on the revision of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Circular and on draft EIA guidance
The consultation ran from 27 June 2006 to 22 September 2006.
One paper set out proposed amendments to Circular 02/99: Environmental impact assessment on screening guidance, recent case law and the incorporation of public participation requirements into EIA legislation. The other set out proposed good practice guidance aimed at developers.
