Beacon Scheme Round Five
Authorities were awarded beacon status for round five in April 2004. The service areas in which they showed excellence are on the right and you can click on the theme you are interested in to see what work is being done. Many of these authorities are also carrying out direct work with specific authorities to help improve performance.
The report below outlines the advisory panel's recommendations for Beacon status and gives detail of the excellence that these authorities were recognised for.
