6) Page 152: Glossary
Dwelling - A dwelling is a unit of accommodation (normally a house or flat) where all the rooms and amenities (i.e. kitchen, bath/shower room, and WC) are for the exclusive use of the household(s) occupying them. Amenities may be located outside the front door but provided they are for the exclusive use of the occupants the accommodation is classed as a dwelling.

Under 'Vulnerability' the first sentence of the text should read
"1.2 million (43% of ) private sector 'vulnerable' households (in receipt of income or disability related benefits) live in non decent homes, compared with 31% of other households."

The original data for Table A4.2 Tenure (7 categories) by decent homes, 1996 and 2001 had some 1996 figures assigned to the wrong categories (this affected cells F6: H17 inclusive ).
This table has been updated and show the correct figures (changes highlighted in red) below.
Tables A4.21 and A4.22 have also been corrected with changes highlighted in red below.
These revisions are now included in the main Supporting tables section.
